Spinal Manipulative Therapy
Also known as an adjustment, this is a non-invasive therapeutic maneuver that helps joints to move better. A joint involves two bones that meet and have a capsule around it that is filled with fluid. When this joint isn’t moving as well as it could, it can cause stiffness, and decreased mobility. By opening these joints through an adjustment this can result in, increase in range of motion, and decrease in pain.
Chiropractors can treat joints all over the body, including the spine, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. We got your back – and more.

These exercises usually involve stretching and strengthening the affected area, performed multiple times a day. -
Pregnancy & Webster Technique
Chiropractic care during pregnancy is safe for both mom and baby, helping to relieve prenatal aches and pains. Some of the typical conditions we can help treat are pregnancy-related low back and pelvic pain, round ligament pain, carpal tunnel, and more.
The Webster Technique is a specific assessment and treatment protocol created with pregnant women in mind. It is intended to ensure that the pelvic musculature is relaxed, and associated joints are moving properly to help reduce pain, and hopefully allow for a more comfortable pregnancy and labour experience.

Paediatric Care
Newborns, babies, and kids have spines too! We treat children of all ages for a variety of different reasons, all of which involve a gentler treatment with significantly less pressure.
Newborns go through a lot just by being born, and some treatments involve a full body wellness of their musculoskeletal system including checking their muscles, joints, and primitive reflexes. Other complaints that can be addressed include: colic, reflux, constipation, breastfeeding and latching issues, etc.
As babies get older they go through a variety of new milestones which we can assess, as well as provide rehabilitation for including crawling and walking.
Toddlers and kids are constantly on the go, and with that can come falls, bumps, and injuries. In addition to sports, and hobbies that may cause aches and pains. We can assess and treat any causes of concern, as well as co-manage with other health care professionals if need be.

Traditional Chinese Acupuncture
This type of acupuncture has similar technique to medical acupuncture with insertion of fine needles in the body, but is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ideologies. Patients will fill out an in-depth intake form with any specific concerns and about their general well being, and our acupuncturist will make a TCM diagnosis based on any imbalances occurring in your body.
An imbalance can mean either an excesses or deficiencies in our organ’s energy (aka Qi, pronounced “chee"). All of our organ systems are connected and need to be functioning together properly in order for us to feel our best. Through the body there are meridians (aka channels or lines) that run through connecting our organs and our body’s Qi. The goal of TCM acupuncture is to use needles on certain spots along these meridians to restore these imbalances to avoid any complications within the body

It can help lift the skin and minimise the appearance of wrinkles and saggy skin, ageing skin, acne, acne scarring, rosacea, and reduce appearance of scars. This can be done in conjunction with light therapy where specifically coloured light is placed above the needles to increase the healing process.
