With an extensive background in dance, I am no stranger to injuries or pain. After a series of falls and soft tissue injuries, it was during my recovery that I developed a fascination with movement and the human body. I graduated in 2005 and have been practicing massage therapy ever since. I came to realize that an integrated system of mind, body and breath is a powerful therapeutic facilitator for balance and healing.
I found fulfillment in my ability to help others take ownership of their wellbeing. I have constantly sought ways to build on my skills and expand my knowledge. Modalities I use can include Myofascial Release Techniques, Trigger Point Therapy, Passive Stretching, Joint Mobilization and Deep Tissue techniques.
I practice *Deepfeet Silks* and *Sarga Bodywork* - a barefoot massage method that employs the use of a fabric strap fastened to a massage table. This unique form of massage combines the ancient art of barefoot massage (Ashiatsu) and principles of myofascial release, to deliver effective, therapeutic, deep tissue work. Integrating these techniques, she collaborates with the client to treat in a way that is fluid, dynamic and integrative.
Outside of work, I can be found practicing Ballet & Contemporary Dance, exploring a new country, road tripping in my Camper Van βBeatriceβ, or people watching at a local cafe. I am forever grateful for this work, that takes me abroad, working with a diverse group of clients on private islands and estates where I share my passion in health and wellness as a Yoga Teacher and Therapist.
